Joanne Rae Mayor Ramirez is an award-winning journalist. A columnist of The Philippine STAR since 1992, her column “People”runs Tuesdays and Fridays. She was formerly editor-in-chief of PeopleAsia magazine and executive editor of the Presidential Press Staff during the administration of President Corazon Aquino.
