Isabelle Tate, who appeared in the series 9-1-1 Nashville, has passed away aged 23.

Her talent agency, McCray, announced her death on Instagram on Thursday, Oct. 23, as they revealed that she died peacefully due to a "rare form of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease" or CMT.

According to the Charcot-Marie-Tate Association (CMTA), CMT is a "rare multisystem, multiorgan disease that causes lifelong, progressive symptoms, including muscle weakness and atrophy in the arms and legs, sensory loss, and other complications. These symptoms often lead to challenges with balance, walking, hand use, and other daily activities."

Tate's management said that her family is requesting privacy "as they deal with this sudden and shocking loss."

They're also asking for donations to be made in Tate's memory through a CMTA link instead of giving flowers.

Tate played Julie in the pilot episode of 9-1-1: Nashville. In the drama, she was seen going to a strip show in a wheelchair and being noticed by Hunter McVey's Blue.
