UP Open University releases 28 free online courses you can take from January to June 2026
UP Open University is offering online courses you can take for free from January to June 2026 and include in your resume upon completion.
The UPOU released 28 massive open online courses (MOOCs) on Facebook, with four brand new ones, such as Practical Home Behavior Management for Children with Special Needs, Data Annotation for Aspiring BPO Professionals, Climate Information Services, and Internalizing Behaviors among Children and Practical Home Support.
Below are the free courses you can take at your own pace and convenience in the first half of the year along with their respective schedules.
Below is UPOU's step-by-step guide on how to enroll.
- Go to http://model.upou.edu.ph/.
- Click “LOG IN” to create a new account.
- Fill out the form with your details. (Please make sure that your indicated email has enough storage to receive messages.)
- Check your email account to see your confirmation link. (Due to the volume of users, expect some delays of up to three business days.)
- Confirm and log in.
- Browse through its website homepage, and select the course you want to enroll in.
The UPOU noted that enrollment is open two weeks ahead of the start of the course and remains available while it's ongoing.
When you're done with the course, you can earn a 16-hour e-certificate for your resume.
