Kaye Abad was overcome with relief when she showed off new passports to replace the two that were stolen in Las Vegas last week.

In a Facebook reel posted by her husband Paul Jake Castillo, Abad can be seen standing on the side of the road with their two sons. Abad is clutching a Manila envelope and other documents.

"O, ano'ng nangyari?" Castillo asks Abad from behind the camera.

Abad shakes her head while simultaneously smiling and crying, then hides behind Castillo, resting her head on his shoulder.

"Crying siya. Crying siya," Castillo narrates. He then asks Abad, "Explain what happened. Explain it to them," referring to their sons.

The background music drowns out most of Abad's reply, but she takes one passport out of the envelope and shows it to her older son Joaquin, who asks, "Can we go right now?"

In his caption, Castillo echoes his son, writing, "We can go home! Sure na."

The Castillo family is in the US for a vacation.

On Nov. 19, Abad shared on Facebook that her bag was stolen from inside their car while the family was having lunch. They left the car unattended for just an hour. Inside the bag were all Abad's IDs, as well as two passports.

With the passports stolen, the family was stranded in the US until they could get the documents replaced.

A day later, the actress assured her 1.9 million Facebook followers that their family was okay.

"To my friends and to those who are asking if kamusta kami, we are ok. Again, God is still good kasi my family is safe," she wrote.

"Fixing my documents now para maka uwi ako sa pinas. Salamat sa mga pinoy na tumulong sa amin," Abad continued.

Abad and Castillo share two sons, Joaquin and Iñigo Leon.

The actress was last seen on the big screen in the 2025 comedy ConMom with Paolo Contis, Patrick Garcia, and Empoy Marquez.
