17 EDSA Carousel bus stations now have free Wi-Fi

Good news, commuters: Most EDSA Busway stations now have free Wi-Fi.

According to a Facebook post by DICT Secretary Henry Aguda shared by the Department of Transportation, the free Wi-Fi connection is accessible from the Balintawak station to SM Mall of Asia. 

"Libre at mabilis na Wi-Fi ang mararanasan ng ating commuters sa 17 EDSA Carousel bus stations," he wrote.

The free Wi-Fi is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and goes up to 60 Mbps. There is also no limit to its data usage.

Aguda said this is in accordance with President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.'s directive to make internet connection free and accessible to Filipinos.

The "Free Wi-Fi for All" program is a joint project by DICT and the DOTr.
