HIGHLIGHTS: Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2025 celebrates diversity on the catwalk
It's that time of the year again! The angels have arrived, and their wings are brighter than ever.
Victoria’s Secret delivered its signature bombshell glamour at its recent New York runway show on Oct. 16, featuring returning favorites like the Hadid sisters, Behati Prinsloo, and Adriana Lima. But this time, it's even better.
In a major embrace of diversity, the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show expanded its lineup to include trans women, a pregnant model, and athletes.
Real women
There’s always a first time for everything and it's a milestone to be celebrated.
Jasmine Tookes embodied “mother of pearl” elegance as she made her ethereal entrance on the runway, proudly showcasing her baby bump. She made history as the first-ever pregnant woman to open a Victoria’s Secret show.
“What an angel!!!!! Thank you for finally putting Mommies in the spotlight,” one comment read under Victoria’s Secret’s Instagram post.
Ashley Graham proved that beauty knows no size as she confidently strutted her curves in an all-black ensemble for her return to the Victoria’s Secret runway.
She told E! that now that the show is seeing more real women, it means that "things are going to be bouncing, things are going to be moving.
"There's gonna be a little cellulite here and there, and you know what? I'm owning it. I'm owning it for everybody that's watching," Graham said.
This year’s first-timers also redefined what it means to be sexy, celebrating individuality and self-confidence in every stride. Euphoria star Barbie Ferreira made her runway debut in a bold red outfit topped with statement denim wings.
American model Precious Lee, another powerful newcomer, turned heads in a white lace camisole set, crowned with a showgirl-inspired organza headdress, flaunting her radiant complexion and striking curves.
Queer queens
After years of criticism for lacking inclusivity and facing a transphobic reputation, Victoria’s Secret took a major step forward, welcoming models from the queer community to the spotlight.
Alex Consani, who previously made history as one of the first trans women ever to walk the Victoria’s Secret catwalk, made a dazzling return to the VS runway, rocking a red-hot look complete with metallic wings.
Her close friend, Quenlin Blackwell, an openly bisexual content creator, brought playful confidence to the runway in a pink swimsuit embellished with glitter letters across her chest.
A new ground for athletes
From arenas to angel wings, these athletes proved that power and beauty go hand in hand. WNBA star Angel Reese made history as the first professional athlete to walk the Victoria’s Secret runway. She wore an all-white lace ensemble adorned with delicate pink flowers and a feathery floral boa.
According to the Chicago Sky forward, this moment was a dream come true.
“I posted it on my Story last year that I was going to be a Victoria's Secret model and it literally happened less than a year later,” she shared.
Two-time Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee followed with a sporty-chic look—donning a pink sports bra emblazoned with “PINK” in silver letters and a matching zip-up hoodie with miniature angel wings on the back.
The return of the legends
Even with new faces stealing the spotlight, Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show didn’t forget the icons who built the brand’s legacy. Y2K supermodel Adriana Lima proved she’s still every inch an angel, gracing the runway for her 20th show in a skin-tight gold bodysuit before changing into a sultry black lace look paired with bigger-than-life tinsel wings.
Alessandra Ambrosio followed in a daring black lace ensemble, her oversized angel wings shaped like a dramatic mask, which was followed by a strappy golden look, illuminating the classic bombshell aura.
World-class acts
Between the shimmering wings and sparkling lights, the night pulsed with live performances that brought the runway to life. Colombian superstar Karol G opened the lineup with her hits Ivonny Bonita and Latina Forever.
Pop singer Madison Beer stunned the audience with her looks and a Make You Mine performance.
Global K-pop sensation TWICE—with members Nayeon, Momo, Tzuyu, and Jihyo—delivered high-energy renditions of This Is For and Strategy, electrifying the stage. They were the first K-pop group to ever perform at the show.
To close the night, Grammy winner Missy Elliott brought down the house with a medley of her greatest hits, ending the show on a high note.
