TikTok star Maurice Harrison shot dead at 21

TikTok star Maurice Harrison was shot to death. She was 21 years old.

NBC Miami reported that the social media personality, best known as Girlalala, sustained multiple gunshot wounds inside a car in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, last week at around 7 p.m.

Per authorities, a verbal altercation broke out between her and her boyfriend, Shanoyd Whyte Jr., 25, prior to the shooting.

Whyte asked for help from the police and then led them to a Chevy Malibu, where Harrison was found lifeless with blood all over.

She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.  

Authorities said Whyte was arrested at the scene and is now behind bars in the Broward County Jail. He's facing a first-degree murder charge and is being held without bail. 

The media outlet reported that Harrison and Whyte were together for seven years and had a “tumultuous, toxic relationship.”
 
Harrison gained traction on TikTok, where she has over 235,000 followers. She enjoyed showing off her unique hairstyles, which made her call herself a "wigfluencer."
