Arci Muñoz—actress, singer, Air Force reservist—is set to wear another hat as she was named the head of empowerment and sustainability of the Miss Universe Denmark organization.

The organization made the official announcement in an Instagram post on Sept. 15.

"We proudly welcome Arci Muñoz as our Head of Empowerment & Sustainability at Miss Universe Denmark," it said in the caption.

The organization noted that Muñoz, as part of the official council committee, "will champion women’s empowerment while leading initiatives that promote a greener, more sustainable future—proving that true beauty shines brightest when it uplifts people and protects the planet."

Other appointees alongside Muñoz were Ian Borromeo (creative director), Jonas Apostol (co-director), Victor Young (head of global partnerships), Richard Armstrong (head of innovation and technology), and Nikoline Uhrenholt Hansen (assistant national director).

In the comments section, Muñoz expressed her gratitude to the organization.

"I will do my best to empower women/communities and promote a more sustainable future," she said.

Several commenters threw their support for Muñoz, including Borromeo, socialite Josh Yugen, Face of the Philippines creative director Rev Reyes, and Mr. World Costa Rica 2022 Roberto Mena. (Last August, Yugen announced that his House of Yugen had taken over the license of Miss Universe Denmark, its fourth one after Bahrain, Pakistan, and Egypt.)

Muñoz isn't a stranger to the pageant world. She served as a judge in Miss Universe Bahrain 2023, Mister International 2024, and Miss Universe Egypt 2025.

Aside from announcing the roles of Muñoz and others, Miss Universe Denmark also called on applicants who can represent the European country on the international stage, which will be held in Thailand in November.

Miss Universe 2024 Victoria Kjær Theilvig, who hails from Denmark, is the first Dane to win the crown. She bested 124 other contestants, including the Philippines' Chelsea Manalo, who finished in the Top 30 and was later hailed as Miss Universe Asia.
