Wedding bells have rung for Carly Rae Jepsen as she has now tied the knot with music producer Cole MGN.

On her Instagram, the Call Me Maybe singer delighted her fans as she posted a series of pictures from their wedding day, several of which showed them strolling through the streets of New York in their wedding outfits.

Instead of a fancy venue with white roses and crystal chandeliers, Carly and Cole decided to spend their big day by enjoying some ice cream and pizza and having a romantic moment in the middle of a busy subway.

In the caption, Carly revealed that they had their wedding in early October: "Husband. That feels good to say. New York City ~Oct. 4th. Favorite day of my life."

In an interview with Vogue, the music artist explained why they decided to hold their wedding at the Chelsea Hotel in New York City.

"We knew we wanted a location that meant something to us, and the Chelsea Hotel had become a home away from home every time we were in New York," she said. "As artists, its iconic history and lore made it that much more appealing. For planning, we had weekly dates to talk out all the details of the wedding. This way it was only ever fun and not too much at once."

The two only had about 100 guests in the hotel’s Bard Room as they wanted it to feel "romantic and full of emotion." While they expected to cry as they said their vows, Carly said no tears were shed thanks to the joyful atmosphere in the room.

"Between the bright baby blue of the background, the wildflowers that surrounded us, and the intimate lighting, walking down the aisle felt like a fever dream. Nothing will top the moment when we first locked eyes, and to be honest, for the first half of the ceremony we couldn’t see anyone else," Carly recounted.

Now that a few weeks has passed since their soecial day, Carly and Cole said that the moment still lives on in their minds.

"Often in life we’ll imagine things, and even though the reality can be good, it’s never quite as good," Carly said.

"This day felt like the exception. It was better than either one of our wildest dreams. We felt connected through the whole thing, which was really important to us. In fact, we even had a few special songs planted in the DJ’s setlist so that, no matter where we were at the moment, when we heard those songs, we would come find each other," she added.

In 2023, Carly worked with Cole, whose real name is Cole Marsden Greif-Neill, on the former's most recent album, The Loveliest Time, which was launched in the same year. The couple then sparked romance during their collaboration on the album.

As a music producer, Cole worked with Anderson.Paak, Beck, Snoop Dogg, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and many more.

The couple announced their engagement in September 2024.
