This ramen shop is giving away free noodle refills for ramen, tsukemen orders to celebrate Bib Gourmand win
The Underbelly earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand award, and the Makati-based restaurant is celebrating with free noodles for diners.
"If we're being honest, getting a Bib Gourmand from The Michelin Guide 2026 wasn't something we expected. But here we are, and it's because of you. To the curious diners who showed up and wanted to try what we were doing—this one's for you," the ramen shop wrote in a social media post.
The Underbelly is offering one free kaedema (noodle refill) with every ramen or tsukemen order. "Because the best way to express our gratitude is with more noodles," it said.
This offer is valid for dine-in customers only. It started on Nov. 4 and will continue until supplies last.
Diners can enjoy only one noodle refill per bowl, and this offer cannot be combined with other promos.
"We'll keep doing what we do best: serving ramen and tsukemen bowls worthy of your hard-earned money," The Underbelly continued.
The ramen shop is located at The Alley at Karrivin, 2136 Chino Roces Avenue Extension in Makati.
The Michelin Bib Gourmand is given to restaurants with a "simpler style of cooking, which is recognisable and easy to eat. A Bib Gourmand restaurant will also leave you with a sense of satisfaction, at having eaten so well at such a reasonable price," The Michelin Guide website said.
The Philippines' first Michelin Guide was unveiled in a ceremony on Oct. 30. 74 establishments earned a Michelin Selected recognition, 25 were honored with the Bib Gourmand, eight won One Michelin Star, and one received Two Michelin Stars.
The Michelin Guide started as a guidebook in the 1900s before becoming a premier fine dining restaurant reviewer of over 30,000 establishments in over 30 territories around the world.
