Can't get enough of the hit show Heated Rivalry? Here's some good news for fans of the series: It appears a new book on Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander's story is coming out this year.

Bookstore Barnes & Noble listed Unrivaled on its website, which will be part of Rachel Reid's Game Changers series which the TV show is based.

The upcoming exclusive edition of the book is described as having a special cover and content.

"Everyone's favorite hockey players are back! Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander continue the romance that began with viral sensation Heated Rivalry [...] in the highly anticipated final book in the New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Rachel Reid's Game Changers series.

The LGBTQ+ romance book series currently has six titles: Game Changer, Heated Rivalry, Tough Guy, Common Goal, Role Model, and The Long Game.

According to the overview on the online bookstore, Unrivaled will pick up—SPOILER ALERT—after Ilya and Shane came out, got married, and play on the same team.

"They've gotten a lot of love from fans who are thrilled for them. But some people in the hockey world are still reeling from their relationship reveal, and the backlash—led by popular hockey podcast Top Shelf and the #TakeBackHockey movement—is getting louder."

Reid has yet to confirm that a new book is releasing this year.

Heated Rivalry has taken the world by storm, as it became available on more platforms, including HBO Max. According to research group Luminate, it has raked in about 30 million streaming minutes during its first week on the popular streamer.

The steamy series created by Jacob Tierney has already been renewed for season 2, as Crave and HBO Max announced on Dec. 12.

The show stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams as Ilya and Shane, hockey rivals who hide a decade-long forbidden romance and their sexualities. It also features François Arnaud, Robbie G.K., Christina Chang, and Dylan Walsh.
