Kate Cassidy remembers Liam Payne on his first death anniversary
Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy paid tribute to the late singer, sharing photos and videos of him on his first death anniversary.
On TikTok, Cassidy shared a video that was taken on the last day they were together in Argentina.
She captioned the clip—which showed them laughing—saying, "This video was taken during the last hour and last day Liam and I shared in this lifetime... I will miss you for the rest of my life, Liam."

Later that day, the influencer posted a black-and-white photo on Instagram of the singer kissing her on the forehead as they lay in bed.
"Today marks a full year without you here. I will forever hate goodbyes. I miss you Liam," she wrote.
Cassidy's followers flooded the comment section with comforting words, with one saying, "He is always with you Kate."
Another user also said, "I know he is looking down on you so proudly!"
A few days ago, Cassidy defended herself on TikTok after followers questioned her decision to attend an influencer trip on the first anniversary of Liam Payne's death. She explained that she had accepted a two-night invitation from a brand for a "wholesome trip."
"I feel like no matter what I do, I get commentary. If I make this video, people are going to be like, 'Of course she had to make this video.' Or if I didn't make this video and just went on the trip, people would be like, 'What is she doing? How is she not in bed crying?'" she said.
"For me, I've said this multiple times before in the past, I like to stay busy. It keeps my mind positive, it keeps my mind active. Doing nothing, for me, lying in bed and just sitting around the house, does absolutely not good things for my headspace."
Payne and Cassidy were first seen together in October 2022. They made their first public appearance in December 2022 by attending the British Fashion Awards together in London.
Payne died on Oct. 16, 2024 after falling from the balcony of his third-floor room at the Casa Sur Hotel in the Argentine capital. He was 31.
In a press release, the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor's Office No. 16 in Argentina announced that the singer died due to polytrauma or several traumatic injuries and internal and external hemorrhage.
