Influencer and her daughter found dead in separate rooms of their home

An influencer and her daughter were discovered lifeless in separate rooms of their apartment in Brazil.

PEOPLE Magazine reported that the dead bodies of Lidiane Aline Lorenço, 33, and her daughter Miana Sophya Santos, 15, were found after neighbors alerted authorities about a strange smell coming from their home in Barra da Tijuca, southwest of Rio de Janeiro.

Lidiane was seen in one of the bedrooms, while Miana was found in the living room after going missing for five days.

An investigation into their deaths is ongoing.

“A forensic examination at the scene found no evidence of assault,” police said.

Lidiane and Miana were laid to rest on Oct. 12 at the Santa Cecilia Municipal Cemetery. 

Lidiane was a model and social media influencer who loved sharing moments of her life and her modeling career on Instagram, where she has more than 50,000 followers.

She was also a medical student at a private university in Rio, as seen in her Instagram posts.

Lidiane and Miana were from Santa Cecília, Santa Catarina. The former moved to Rio de Janeiro more than five years ago, while her daughter reportedly did so just recently.
