Content creator Richmond Tabangcura revealed that he has ended his relationship with his partner, influencer Deo Cabrera, due to alleged cheating.

In a lengthy social media post, Tabangcura posted black and white pictures of him and Cabrera with the words "Closing this chapter" across one image.

He accompanied the post with a statement opening up about the reason behind their breakup, claiming that he chose to walk away after experiencing what he described as "repeated acts of betrayal."

"I've been quiet for the past few weeks about us, taking time to process everything. While I know I don’t owe anyone an explanation, most of you have been part of our journey and witnessed the love I shared with my ex-partner. Yes, we broke up because of repeated acts of betrayal," he began.

"Finding out all at once that my trust had been broken in many ways I couldn’t imagine was truly devastating. This burdened me for weeks, and it hurts because I gave my clear and pure intentions; I gave it all out. Sinama ko siya sa pangarap ko, and I was ready to spend a lifetime with them," he continued.

Tabangcura further shared his realizations about the dating scene.

"This made me realize that regardless of gender, status, or educational background, breaking your partner's trust always is a choice," he said.

He added that he tried to make things work, but is now choosing to leave the relationship.

Despite what happened, Tabangcura shared words of goodwill for Cabrera.

"To my ex-partner, as we heal and move forward with this, please always remember I cherished all the moments we shared together. I hope you'll also be patient with yourself and to the things going on through your life. Continue to be the best version of yourself for yourself," he said.

He also hopes fans will respect the boundaries between him and his ex-partner.

'Harassment, threats, hate are never okay'

Following the post, Cabrera acknowledged Tabangcura's post on his Instagram stories.

"I understand why people are upset, and I don't take that lightly. I was wrong, and I know that. I'm taking time to reflect and process this privately and responsibly," he said.

"While I do so, I ask for space and boundaries. Harassment, threats, and hate directed at anyone are never okay. That is all I will share at this time," he ended.
