Filipino celebrities ushered in the New Year with various celebrations: Some welcomed 2026 overseas, while others opted for intimate gatherings at home with their nearest and dearest.
From intimate gatherings to lively celebrations, here’s how they kicked off 2026.
Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff
Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff, along with their daughter Dahlia, welcomed the New Year surrounded by snowy scenery in Japan.
In the actress’s Instagram post, the family was seen celebrating at the Niseko Grand Hirafu Ski Resort in Hokkaido. They were joined on the trip by Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico’s family, who were also marking the birthday of their firstborn, Tilli.

Social media personality Mimiyuuuh kept it simple yet fun-filled as she welcomed the new year with her family in their home. In her Instagram story, she was seen giving away cash as the clock struck midnight.
Vice Ganda
Actress-comedian Vice Ganda welcomed 2026 at home, surrounded by family. In an Instagram story, she was seen cheering “Happy New Year,” showing off a firecracker on camera, and clinking glasses with her loved ones.
She recently made history by winning the Best Actor award in the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival's Gabi ng Parangal for her role in Call Me Mother.

Quezon star Jericho Rosales also shared a short clip of him doing a little dance as he welcomed the new year, seemingly at a party in a resort.
Carla Guevara, Sophia Laforteza
Actress Carla Guevara-Laforteza serenaded guests during her show at Solaire North. In her Instagram stories, she was later seen partying with her family, including her daughter Sophia Laforteza of KATSEYE, who also celebrated her birthday on New Year's Eve.
