Chris Evans and Alba Baptista welcome first baby together

Chris Evans and Alba Baptista are now parents!

The Avengers alum, 44, and his wife, 28, welcomed their first child together last week, according to TMZ.

The entertainment outlet reported that their daughter's name is "Alma Grace," who will be using her mom and dad's last names: Baptista Evans.

Per TMZ, rumors of Evans becoming a dad started when a fan account posted a Father's Day tribute to the couple's respective fathers.

Luis Baptista, Alba's dad, commented on the post: "Many thanks, dear Chris. Your turn is coming!"

The couple went Instagram official in January 2023 with a video compilation of them scaring each other in 2022. They also shared sweet couple snaps on Valentine’s Day the following month.

Evans confirmed he and Baptista got married in October 2023.

Evans is best known for his role as Captain America in different films by the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Baptista, meanwhile, is best known for her character in the Netflix series Warrior Nun.
